With a record breaking number of entries for the series on hand, Jensen qualified fastest overall out of 49 cars with a 13.062. Mother Nature showed her hand as qualifying concluded putting them under rain delay which lasted several hours. Track officials were able to get the track ready afterwards and racing resumed in the wee hours of the morning. In the $2,000 to win main event, Jensen started 2nd and finished on the podium in the 3rd position.

1After only a few hours of sleep, Jensen and team then headed to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN for another night of racing with the American Crate All-Star Series. Jensen placed 5th in qualifying out of 40 cars in qualifying locking him into the dash. Jensen’s 4th place finish in the Dash would place him outside the second row on the grid for Saturday night’s $3,000 to win feature. After 35 laps, Jensen fell back a handful of positions to finish in 13th.

Jensen was scheduled to compete Sunday at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN but after the damage sustained to their car the past two nights as well as suffering two flat tires on their trailer, the team decided to sit out Sunday night and get the super car ready for Monday’s action at 411.

1Jensen rounded out his Memorial Day weekend of racing Monday evening at the 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN for his second Super Late Model start of the year. Jensen had his work cut out for him as an impressive 41 car field was on hand for the 8th annual running of the Scott Sexton Memorial. In qualifying, Jensen placed 7th in his group and would roll off 4th in his heat race. Jensen failed to transfer into the feature out of the heat with a 6th place finish and would have to race his way in through a B-Main. Jensen started and finished 2nd in the consi and put his Clements-powered TNT Race Car in the show for $10,052 to win. Jensen rolled off from the 20th position but after only 9 laps, he pulled off the track and called it a night early ending up with a 20th place finish.
