September 19, 2020 - Top-5 finish at 411 Motor Speedway
1Friday night found Jensen Ford in action at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the Pink Out for Christy. Following the seventh fastest time in a field of 18 Crate Late Models in qualifying, Ford gained three spots in the 25-lap feature to place fourth behind Zach Sise, Josh Henry, and Cameron Weaver with Adam Ahl coming in fifth.

1Jenson Ford enjoyed a successful Labor Day weekend of racing in his Whitehead Construction Inc. No. 83 Stanco Equipment/ Shoun Trucking/ TNT Race Cars Late Model.

Not only did the Tennessee racer sweep the weekend opener at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. Friday, he also claimed two other podium finishes during the four-day swing.

“Overall we have a great weekend. It’s nice to have things go our way for a change,” Ford explained. “We’re bringing both cars back in one piece after four long days of racing. We’ll take this upcoming weekend to regroup and decide where to go next. I can’t thank everyone enough for their continued support.”

1On Friday Jensen Ford made the short trip to Volunteer Speedway to kick off an action-packed Labor Day weekend with the American Crate All-Star Series. Drawing a stout field of 38 cars for the opening round of the Crystal Cup, Ford followed up the fastest lap overall in time trials with a Dash victory.

Earning the pole position for the feature, Jensen led flag-to-flag to capture his third win of the season and a $2,000 payday. Trevor Sise, Adam Ahl, Josh Henry, and Jeremy Shaw trailed him to the checkers in the 40-lap affair.

1The following night, Jenson made a visit to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., for the Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals Series opener. Jensen secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win Rockin’ with the Stars Hall of Fame 100 A-Main with the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Vic Hill. Fading five spots in the 40-lap affair, Ford recorded a seventh-place outing.

Returning to the American Crate All-Star Series on Sunday, Ford headed to Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va. to chase a $10,000 top prize. In a field of 42 entries, Jensen placed second in his heat race behind Brandon Umberger to lock into the 11th-starting position for the main event.

On Monday afternoon at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn., Jensen laid down the third fastest time in a field of 21 Late Models, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the $2,000-to-win A-Main.

Holding his spot for all 35 laps, Ford notched a third place finish behind Logan Roberson and Eli Beets with Rusty Ballenger and Cameron Weaver rounding out the Top-5.
