Jensen Ford attends Ray Varner Ford 53 at Tazewell Speedway

Tapping in for one night with the miniseries, Jensen Ford checked into Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the $20,053-to-win Southern Nationals season finale.

Finishing runner-up in his heat race, Ford started the 75-lap feature from sixth and was caught up in an opening lap melee. Despite restarting in his original position, a flat tire derailed his evening and he finished 17th.
